Darline Graham

Sen. Darline Graham was appointed to the U.S. Senate by Governor Henry McMaster following the death of her brother, Sen. Lindsey Graham, and became the first woman to represent South Carolina in the United States Senate. Prior to her appointment, she served for nearly 30 years in South Carolina state government, including at the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department and the South Carolina Commission for the Blind, where she advocated for residents with disabilities.
