Sydney Gruters

Sydney Gruters is a Southwest Florida conservative leader, wife, mom, and nonprofit executive running to represent Florida’s 16th Congressional District. A longtime Sarasota-area resident, she serves as vice president of advancement and executive director at the New College Foundation, where she works to support students and strengthen one of Florida’s most dynamic public institutions. Gruters previously served the district in Congress as a staffer for Rep. Vern Buchanan and Rep. Greg Steube and later was appointed in the Trump administration as rural development state director for Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
