WFW AF Endorses Misti Cordell for Congress in LA-05

WASHINGTON, DC – Winning For Women Action Fund (WFW AF) today announced its endorsement of Misti Cordell in Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District. The district will hold an open primary on November 3, and a runoff will take place on December 12 if no candidate clears 50 percent of the vote.

Misti Cordell is a wife, mother, successful businesswoman, and appointed Chair of the Louisiana Board of Regents under Governor Jeff Landry. A two-time Trump delegate to the Republican National Convention, Misti has spent years as a Republican leader serving on the Louisiana Republican State Central Committee and in executive roles across parish and local Republican organizations. The granddaughter of a World War II veteran who stormed the beaches of Normandy and the daughter of an Army veteran, Misti’s commitment to Louisiana and to her country is rooted in a family legacy of service and sacrifice. She is running on a platform focused on cutting taxes, securing the border, protecting Louisiana’s agriculture and energy economy, and restoring parental rights in education.
