WASHINGTON, DC – Winning For Women Action Fund (WFW AF) today announced its endorsements of Laurie Buckhout for Congress in North Carolina’s 1st Congressional District, Shelly deZevallos for Congress in Texas’s 38th Congressional District, and Amanda McKinney for Congress in Washington’s 4th Congressional District. All three women exemplify the kind of principled, solutions-oriented conservatism and leadership our party needs to grow and sustain a durable majority in the House.

“Laurie, Shelly, and Amanda are accomplished leaders with real records of service in uniform, in business, and in local government — and they are exactly the kind of principled, electable conservatives our party needs in Washington,” said Danielle Barrow, President of Winning For Women Action Fund. “In 2026, we’re backing exceptional women in both battleground and safe seats who will decide not only whether we hold the majority, but the strength of the House Republican Conference behind it. We are proud to be in their corner and are committed to helping ensure they have the resources necessary to win.”

“When our party has a chance to nominate and elect proven, solutions-oriented conservatives, we have a responsibility to seize it,” said Meredith Allen, Executive Director of Winning For Women Action Fund. “Laurie ran a strong race last cycle and enters the primary with unmatched name recognition and the best path to flipping battleground NC‑01. In TX-38, Shelly is the only candidate with a serious record as a business owner, pilot, and lifelong Houstonian focused on delivering real results for her district. Amanda’s America First record as a county commissioner has already prompted key leaders and grassroots conservatives to rally behind her as the strongest choice in WA-04. We are thrilled to be backing each of their campaigns.”

These endorsements come after WFW AF announced a record breaking off-year of fundraising, which highlighted the momentum behind our mission to elect qualified, exceptional conservative women to Congress.

Laurie Buckhout – NC-01

Laurie Buckhout is a retired Army Colonel, decorated combat commander, and conservative leader running to represent North Carolina’s 1st Congressional District, where she is focused on bringing battlefield-tested leadership, fiscal responsibility, and results-oriented problem solving to Washington on behalf of eastern North Carolina.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of Winning For Women Action Fund. Their support reflects our shared commitment to strong, principled leadership and to expanding opportunities for women who are ready to serve and lead,” said Buckhout. “As a combat veteran who led troops in combat, WFW AF recognizes that women bring unique perspectives, toughness, and problem-solving skills to public service—and that conservative women belong at the table. I’m grateful for their confidence in our campaign, and I look forward to working with them to take back North Carolina’s first congressional district.”

Shelly deZevallos – TX-38

Shelly deZevallos is a Houston businesswoman, pilot, and lifelong conservative running to represent Texas’s 38th Congressional District, where she is committed to securing the border, strengthening the economy, and defending the conservative values Texas families share.

“I’m honored to have the support of Winning For Women Action Fund, an organization with a proven track record of electing strong, conservative women to Congress who will prioritize protecting our shared values while keeping America secure and our economy strong,” said Shelly deZevallos. “As a businesswoman, pilot, and mother — I’m running for Congress to use my experience to keep Texans safe, help families save more of their hard-earned money, restore the American Dream for future generations, and protect our Constitutional freedoms at all costs. I look forward to a longstanding partnership with WFW AF and earning the vote of Republicans across the 38th District.”

Amanda McKinney – WA-04

Amanda McKinney is a Yakima County Commissioner, mortgage banker, and conservative mom running to represent Washington’s 4th Congressional District, bringing a strong private-sector and local-government perspective to the fight for farmers, small businesses, and rural communities in central Washington.

“I’m honored to earn the support of Winning For Women Action Fund as we fight to take back Washington D.C. for hardworking families in Central Washington,” said McKinney. “As a businesswoman, community leader, and conservative mom, I know firsthand how Washington’s broken policies are hurting our farmers, small businesses, and rural communities. I’m running to restore accountability, defend our constitutional freedoms, secure the border, and bring common sense back to Congress. With the support of organizations like WFW AF, we can keep this seat Red, strengthen our Republican majority, and deliver real results for the people of Washington’s Fourth District.”

Background

Winning For Women Action Fund (WFW AF) entities proudly champion conservative women leaders in Congress and candidates seeking federal office by providing substantial financial and strategic support.

Since the 2020 cycle, WFW AF and aligned entities raised and directed nearly $45 million to support women through efforts spanning our super PAC, 501(c)(4), connected PAC, and hard dollar initiatives.

  • WFW Action Fund (WFW AF), the first super PAC dedicated to electing Republican women, has invested $20 million to advance candidates through competitive primaries and general elections.

  • WFW AF leadership organized national fundraising events that delivered over $9 million in critical hard-dollar contributions directly to candidates’ campaigns.

  • Winning For Women, our 501(c)(4), has led targeted advocacy campaigns focused on key economic and national security issues, hosted policy briefings with partner organizations, coordinated press events, and ran mentorship programs to support the next generation of women leaders.
